How animals deal with downpours

With the rainy season now in full force across much of the United States, animals both in the wild and at zoos are coming up with some unique ways to cope.

How animals react can depend on three basic things: the species, the individual's personality and the animal's access to human-made shelter and goods.

Outside of humans, orangutans have come up with some of the primate world's best ways of dealing with rain. Orangutans live in the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra, where dampness is part of the landscape.

In the forest during storms, orangutans will make protective canopies and "hats" out of leaves, but in zoos, they have found a more attractive material.

"Here in Seattle, rain is virtually an everyday occurrence," Gigi Allianic, spokesperson for Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo, told Discovery News. "Our orangutans wrap burlap bags around themselves and often just sit out storms. Like many of our other animals, they also have the option to retreat to an enclosure."

Most terrestrial animals do seek shelter. In nature, that can happen in tree or log holes, under rocks or leaves, or underground. Smaller animals like squirrels and mice will huddle together in such shelters, attempting to stay warm.

Rain seems to annoy most species, however, even aquatic animals. During torrential downpours, animals such as frogs, turtles and fish may retreat to lower levels of lakes and ponds, with some seeking added shelter under things like fallen rocks or driftwood.

Numerous animals, however, often remain out in the open and try to tolerate the wet.

"Grizzly bears at our zoo will often do that, even though they can go into an enclosure," Allianic said, adding that bears are very good swimmers.

Reptiles possess scaly skin composed of a protein called keratin. This allows reptile skin to have waterproof qualities while still remaining properly hydrated.

"Crocodiles are pretty good at dealing with inclement weather," Nick Hanna, assistant curator at Audubon Nature Institute in New Orleans, told Discovery News. "They remain calm and cool and never freak out, even during hard rains."

Some animals do lose their cool, but not necessarily because of rain.

    3. How animals deal with downpours
    4. The scariest science experiments ever

"We've learned that, for certain animals, it's better and safer to leave them out instead of in," Hanna said. "When confined, ostriches tend to run into walls. African antelopes sometimes get so spooked that they will also run into walls."

These species, though, still have access to off-exhibit areas and canopies to shield them from sun and rain.

In certain cases, how an animal reacts has more to do with its individual personality. Hanna and Allianic indicated that some primates and elephants fare better than others during rainstorms, particularly when thunder and lightning are involved.

NEWS: What Are the Risks from Hurricane Sandy?

"More skittish individuals can get spooked, and they will tend to retreat indoors," Allianic explained. "Even big elephants and great apes can be like dogs and cats when it comes to reacting to thunder and lightning."

While animals can try to get away from such loud noises, some may invariably become soaking wet.

The good news is that furry animals, such as giant pandas, tigers, brown bears, kangaroos and more, have all evolved an ability to shake themselves dry in mere seconds.

Recently, Andrew Dickerson of the Georgia Institute of Technology alongside colleagues Zachary Mills and David Hu determined that this shaking is tuned to the perfect frequency for each species, in terms of its size and anatomy. Loose skin tissue turns out to serve an important role.

"By whipping around the body, it increases the speed of drops leaving the animal and the ensuing dryness relative to tight dermal tissue," Dickerson and his team explained.

The finding also helps to explain why everything else around the dog during a shakedown usually gets wet, while the dog ends up dry.

70% of business CEO's are betting on analytic data to understand ...

70% of Business CEO?s are betting on analytic data to understand their clients

Based on the Global Study of Top Management-CEO Study IBM-2012: ?Leading in a hyper-connected world.?

More than 70% of CEO?s are looking for a better way to understand the needs of every client and to increase their potential for solutions. Given the need for a deeper knowledge of the clients, the so called ?out performers? (Those organizations that beat the competition in the same industry in terms of growth, income, and revenues.) have a clear advantage.

IBM has been working on this report since 2004.? On the fifth edition they were able to sit ?face to face with 1,700 CEO?s from 64 countries all across the world, of which 230 work for medium size companies.

In order to retain their clients on an individual basis, CEO?s have built analytical muscles to be able to respond with more speed and relevancy the specific needs of every client.? It is for this reason that they have been investing on client insight more than any other functional area ? a long ways from operations, competitive intelligence, financial analysis, or even risk direction.? The study also reveals they are a lot more skillful when converting data into a deeper understanding of the clients that serves to generate ideas which in turn will convert into action.? It is from there, in our opinion, that the new organization based on marketing requires such insights deriving from analytical intelligence in order to obtain a deeper understanding of the clients and then create innovation based on highlighted experience.

    Social Technologies

Although face-to-face interaction with clients will continue to be the preferred method for CEO?s, they expect a radical change in the use of social media. More than half recognize that social channels will be primary method to attract clients in the next five years. The CEO?s have also added the most significant changes are taking place in the realm of ?social? Technologies. Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and other social platforms have changed the way products and services get to the consumer. However, in actuality and despite the fact that social media continue to grow, only 15% of CEO?s of mid-size companies employ this platform to connect with the consumer as an individual. In the next three to five years these figures will reach 50%.

    Mobility: the agent of change

Mobility is also raising the expectations of clients and giving way for new challenges for CEO?s. Mid-size companies have a great opportunity to add value through immediacy. To be more competitive, and given that mobile business is expected to reach $31, 000 in 2016, business will need to take advantage of services that are based on location, as well as all the new methods of mobile business, multi-channel experiences, and personalization.

Proven Tips And Advice For Effective Internet Marketing | Dan Wangert

Today it?s critical to develop and put into place a smart, effective plan for Internet marketing. Failing to plan for all situations can lead to issues that you do not know how to handle. Here are several key tips to Internet marketing.

Always view your website in the way that a potential customer would. Is it easy to use? Does it offer enjoyment to the reader? Are orders easy to place? All the SEO in the world will be pointless if your potential customers have trouble navigating your site once they get there.

When sending out e-mails, regardless of whether the e-mail is business related or a personal one, you should always have a signature on all e-mails. Think of your signature as a virtual business card. By allowing the recipients of your e-mails to see how your business really is, you are more likely to gain increased traffic and profits.

Great content is essential to a successful Internet marketing strategy. Make sure that the content on your website is up-to-date so that you can stay current. You may also want other people to look over the content. This is a tried and true method of keeping content fresh and error-free. Don?t destroy all your hard work by not running a strong spell check and grammar check for the content. You want it to be correct.

Your customers will appreciate any free service, tool or product that you can offer to them, free of charge. You can increase the chance that a potential customer will investigate your site further once you have caught their eye with a free offer. A helpful example would be a tax calculator on a website about finances.

Many people won?t believe ad copy. Like Pavlov?s dogs, people have been trained to be suspicious of an advertiser?s honesty. Consequently, you need to offer evidence for everything you say on your website. Examples of this include testimonials, before-and-after photographs, and test reports. Do not bother making a claim if you don?t have evidence to back it up. You want to remember that your customers are people and that they want to deal with someone they can trust. Dishonest techniques can lead to distrust and penalties from search engines. Your reputation in the years ahead will reflect how you treat your customers, and those that are well-treated will continue to return constantly.

Try to be thorough when designing your website by having a relevant and content oriented site. Your main focus should be educating your customers quickly so they have an idea what they are buying. Take care not to be repetitive in your descriptions, or give your customers information that is worthless or uninteresting.

Now that you?ve come to the end of this article, you can see the need to effectively employ Internet marketing within your own business. If you know what you are doing, you can implement an online marketing strategy that will produce great results.

The Insane Defense of the ?Castle Doctrine? Gone Wild

Handgun. Expansion of castle doctrine laws are making the route to violence too easy

    Patryk Kosmider/iStockphoto.

One amazing thing about the recent spate of laws that make it easier to shoot people and get away with it is how much prosecutors hate them. ?It?s an abomination,? one Florida prosecutor told the Sun Sentinel, referring to the state?s ?stand your ground? law at the center of the tragic killing of Trayvon Martin. And now we?re hearing from Montana?s county attorneys, sheriffs, and police chiefs, all of whom oppose the 2009 law that expanded the ?castle doctrine? to give homeowners more leeway to kill potential intruders. The law is ?a solution that had no problem,? the president of the Montana County Attorneys? Association said. And earlier this month, the prosecutor for the town of Kalispell cited the newly strengthened castle doctrine in refusing to indict Brice Harper, a man who shot and killed Dan Fredenberg, the husband of the woman Harper was having an affair with. Harper didn?t kill Fredenberg at the end of a violent encounter. He killed an unarmed Fredenberg when he walked into Harper?s garage.

The idea that Harper won?t be charged is crazy making because he had a clear, safe choice that didn?t involve shooting. According to the letter Flathead County attorney Ed Corrigan wrote explaining his decision not to prosecute, Fredenberg suspected that his wife, Heather Fredenberg, was having an affair with Harper. On the day of the shooting, she went to Harper?s house with her 18-month-old twins to help him get ready to move out. Her husband called to ask if she was with Harper, and she didn?t answer. Then she and Harper went for a drive?she wanted to get his opinion about a noise her car was making?and she saw her husband following behind. Harper got out of the car at his house. Heather Fredenberg told him to go inside and not to answer if her husband came to find him. Instead, Harper went inside, got his pistol from his bedroom, and stood at the door from his laundry room to his garage while Fredenberg approached. Harper told the police, ?I told him I had a gun, but he just kept coming at me.? He also claims Fredenberg was ?charging at him, like he was on a mission.? When Fredenberg was a few feet away, Harper shot him three times.

Harper told the police he feared for his life at that point. Maybe so. But it?s hard to see how he could have reasonably had such a fear when he saw Fredenberg walking up the driveway and had the option of going inside and closing the door. Montana?s law, however, gives people in this situation more leeway for a confrontation?this really is about standing your ground, for good reason or for bad. You can use force if you think it?s necessary to prevent someone from unlawfully entering a house. You can use force ?likely to cause death or serious bodily harm? if you think that?s necessary to keep yourself from being assaulted. You don?t have to fear that you may be killed or seriously injured. You have no duty to retreat or call the police. And if you have evidence that your use of force was justified, it?s the state?s burden to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it wasn?t.

Call me a wimp who?s afraid of guns, but I cannot for the life of me understand why you?d want to move from permitting self-defense to encouraging someone to go inside to get a weapon and then lie in wait on someone else approaching their house. I can see why Harper thought Fredenberg would beat him up. I can?t see why he put himself in the position of either getting beaten up or gunning him down. Nor is it hard to find other examples in which ?stand your ground? or expanded castle doctrine laws let shooters off the hook when their refusal to walk away is integral to the confrontation. In the aftermath of Trayvon Martin?s death, Ta-Nehisi Coates collected these examples. Here?s more from the Orlando Sentinel, and Jonathan Turley points out that Montana?s law led the police to release a man who shot his co-worker at his workplace, the local Wal-Mart.

The response to this week?s New York Times story about Fredenberg?s death and Corrigan?s decision not to prosecute includes the claim, from Jacob Sullum of Reason, that Harper?s decision to shoot would have been justified ?even without the changes that the state legislature made to Montana?s self-defense law in 2009.? Corrigan said the key for him was that the law used to give people the right to shoot to kill intruders only if they entered in a ?violent, riotous, or tumultuous manner,? but the new version of the law deleted the ?violent, riotous, or tumultuous? part. Sullum argues that Fredenberg was being violent or riotous or tumultuous. I don?t see it?belligerent, maybe, but not actually violent.

And in any case, it seems to me that the larger problem with these Go-Ahead-and-Shoot laws is the insidious way in which they encourage rather than deter violence. The National Rifle Association, the lobbying force behind the laws, which have passed in more than 20 states, exploits the understandable fear people have of being attacked at home to the point of countenancing killings that are barely provoked at all. The law has always provided for a right of self-defense. As Turley explains, the new breed of castle doctrine is ?based on an urban legend that people are routinely prosecuted for defending their homes from intruders.? It?s one thing to fend off someone who is trying to kill you. It?s another thing entirely to set up the legal framework so that if you say you felt in any way threatened, prosecutors have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you were wrong.

At least Fredenberg?s death has persuaded the local newspaper to call for rethinking Montana?s castle law. Now let?s see if the legislature is brave enough for a confrontation worth having?with the NRA.

3 Things To Consider Before You And Your Boyfriend Get Back ...

3 Things to Consider Before You And Your Boyfriend Get Back Together

Are you considering getting back together with your ex boyfriend. Does the thought of being back together excite you? If your sure that this is something you want there are some things you should take into consideration first before you go down this path.

Now don't misunderstand what I'm saying. Many couples do successfully get back together after a breakup but in some cases these couples end up getting back together for the wrong reasons or without having dealt with the issues that lead to the breakup in the first place. If you want your relationship with your ex to be a success then you need to take some time and analyze the following issues:

    Understand Why You Broke Up

There was a reason or possibly several reasons why you broke up and you and your ex boyfriend need to identify what those are. If you don't then you're going to head down the same path as before. Both of you must deal with the issues that lead to the breakup in the first place or you must mutually agree that the past reasons for the breakup are no longer an issue. It's not enough to simply have regrets about your past relationship. If you want to be successful then things need to change.

    Let Go Of The Past

If you're serious about giving your relationship with your ex boyfriend another shot then you'll need to treat it as a new relationship and not an extension of the old one. This doesn't mean that you're starting over from scratch because you already know each other, but you will need to rebuild the trust and friendship that you once had. Lastly, as a couple you will need to assess your goals and work together to create a new life for yourselves as a couple.

Don't Let Your Emotions Get The Best Of You

There's no doubt that it's thrilling to talk to your ex boyfriend again and to piece your relationship back together. But you need to be careful when you're falling in love again and keep things in perspective. It's important when you're making decisions together to do it with a rational point of view instead of just a purely emotional one because if you let your emotions take over it could cloud your judgement about some important issues which may come back to haunt you later on.

If you really want to get back together again, make sure that you're both on the same page and that you're really ready to give it another shot. By taking the time to work through your feelings you could end up saving yourself a lot of heartache and grief if things don't work out as planned.

It's easy to believe that your ex boyfriend has changed since the breakup especially if you're eager to get back together with him. However if he hasn't really changed since you were last together then you'll only be setting yourself up for failure.

Set yourself up for a successful relationship by being honest with both yourself and your ex boyfriend to make sure that you don't go down the same path that lead you to breakup in the first place.

CANADA FX DEBT-Hawkish executive bank supports C$, hits some debt

    Tue Oct 23, 2012 11:40am EDT

    * C$ during C$0.9926 contra a US$, or $1.0075

    * Bank of Canada mostly binds to hawkish line on rates

    * Global expansion fears erase early C$ rally

    By Alastair Sharp

TORONTO, Oct 23 (Reuters) ? The Canadian dollar reason steady
versus a U.S. banking while short-term debt prices fell on
Tuesday after a Bank of Canada astounded markets by largely
retaining a hawkish perspective that seductiveness rates should be raised
    over time.

The executive bank, highlighting mountainous domicile debt,
repeated many of a rate-hike denunciation that has done it an
outlier among vital economies, while creation a time support for
    rate hikes reduction definite.

The Canadian dollar had enervated after Governor Mark Carney
omitted anxiety to a executive bank?s tightening disposition in a
    speech a week ago.

?Obviously they kept a hawkish bias, that we consider took
the markets by surprise, so we?ve had a convene in a Canadian
dollar,? pronounced Camilla Sutton, arch banking strategist at
    Scotiabank.

The banking traded as clever as C$0.9901 to the
greenback, or $1.0099, after a executive bank statement, from
    C$0.9970 only before.

But by midday it had enervated behind to C$0.9926 contra the
    US$, or $1.0075, unvaried from Monday?s close.

While a bank?s expansion and acceleration opinion was slightly
more downbeat, a comparatively certain altogether tinge and absence
of any explanation on Europe astounded some investors.

?It was a tiny peculiar since information right now is not really
supportive of rate hikes ? a U.S. is still muddling along,
Europe is in a retrogression and Chinese expansion is a tiny slower
than expected,? pronounced Darcy Briggs, a Calgary-based fixed-income
fund manager with Bissett Investment Management, a section of
    Franklin Templeton.

    SHORT-TERM DEBT PRICES HIT

The currency?s gains were singular by a broader convene in the
safe-haven U.S. dollar after muted corporate gain and a
downgrade of Spanish regions re-ignited fears about a health
    of a universe economy.

Still, a Canadian dollar was stronger opposite many major
currencies, including a euro, British pound
, Swiss franc and Australian dollar
    .

?Given a fact that we?ve got a flattering green mood in the
global markets today, that?s a flattering critical pierce by the
Canadian dollar,? pronounced Doug Porter, emissary arch economist at
    BMO Capital Markets.

The Bank of Canada news also strike short-term supervision bond
prices, while longer-term prices were upheld by broader
    caution.

The two-year bond was off 8 Canadian cents to
yield 1.136 percent, while a benchmark 10-year bond
rose 18 Canadian cents to produce 1.853 percent.

?The prolonged finish is still being upheld by a bit of weakness
in other financial markets currently some-more broadly, though a brief end
got walloped by this,? BMO?s Porter said.

    Notwithstanding a knee-jerk greeting in a session,
Bissett?s Briggs pronounced he did not expect poignant movement
in bond yields in a nearby tenure as he expects a executive bank
to continue to reason rates steady.

?The jury?s still out, from my vantage point,? he said.

Overnight index swaps, that trade formed on expectations for
the executive bank?s pivotal process rate, showed that after the
announcement traders resumed fixation tiny bets on the
possibility of a rate travel in 2013.

No other state experienced an increase of more than 20 percent. Nationwide, disposable personal income increased 11.7 percent, nearly equal to the inflation rate of 11.6 percent.

Nevada was the only state to experience a decrease in disposable income, slipping 2.3 percent.

Disposable personal income is defined as all money received from all sources, minus federal, state and local income taxes and motor vehicle taxes (property and sales are not excluded), On Numbers reports.

(AP) ? Keith Richards has had a lot of rock 'n' roll moments. He didn't expect another one at the premiere of The Rolling Stones' new documentary "Crossfire Hurricane."

The film directed by Brett Morgen and produced by Mick Jagger debuted last Thursday at the London Film Fesitval and hundreds of fans turned out to catch a glimpse. Guitarist Keith Richards called the reception "overwhelming."

"I did not expect Leicester Square to be going bananas, do you know what I mean?" Richards said. "It was quite, it was heartwarming to say the least, especially walking out you felt you were still in the movie. Take 2."

The Stones will celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of rock 'n' roll's cornerstone acts later this year with Nov. 25 and 29 shows in London and Dec. 13 and 15 shows in Newark, N.J. Guitarist Ronnie Wood hinted at Thursday's premiere that things are going so well in rehearsals the band could simply just keep going after finishing those gigs.

The group has not played together live in five years, so the gigs will likely add another chapter to the already historic run chronicled in "Crossfire Hurricane."

Morgen mixes archival early Stones footage with fresh interviews with current members Jagger, Richards, Woods and Charlie Watts and former members Billy Wyman and Mick Taylor.

Members of the band had different reactions. Woods said he had to keep reminding himself he's actually in the band he was watching a movie about. And Richards acknowledged "those were the days, my friend." Jagger, as producer, helped assemble the material.

"It is like looking through your old scrapbook," Jagger said. "But you see a film like this, it is documentary film but it has, you know, a thrust and a narrative so it is not just a random assembly of old bits of material," Jagger said. "So when you start off you have a goal, you have got to have a story and you have got to have a dramatic sort of through line."

President Obama's Comment About Military Horses and Bayonets in ...

Last night, President Obama generated tremendous Internet buzz with his ?horses and bayonets? remark. While the U.S. Armed Forces have of course advanced technologically, the President?s statement is a disservice to the sailors and Marines who rely on our robust fleet every day, and it dramatically oversimplifies the importance of U.S. naval power.

In response to Governor Mitt Romney?s comment that the U.S. is headed for its smallest naval fleet since 1917, the President quipped, ?Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets because the nature of our military?s changed.? The President continued in his retort, ?The question is not a game of Battleship where we?re counting ships. It?s?it?s what are our capabilities??

He is correct that we have the most capable Navy in the world, but as the old saying goes, quantity is a quality all its own. In Haiti, the Navy played a critical role in restoring stability and aiding the distressed and injured after the earthquake of 2010. Marines played a critical role in this effort, yet the fleet of amphibious ships they embark from will shrink significantly under Obama?s projected defense budget. Under sequestration, the amphibious fleet will shrink even more.

The President also used aircraft carriers to support his claim that we don?t need more ships. Again, this is an oversimplification. While these vessels do give the U.S. a significant advantage in being able to transport air power to rival that of most nations on each ship, they cannot be everywhere at once. The carrier fleet currently stands at 11?a congressionally mandated requirement. Under defense cuts, the fleet is projected to fall to 10.

One of the most strategic assets the Navy fields is its ballistic missile nuclear submarine fleet. These boats provide key deterrence and present the most survivable leg of the nuclear triad. The replacement for the aging Ohio-class ballistic subs is under development, yet under Obama?s budget?even before factoring in sequestration?the program is delayed by two years. This will cause a critical capability gap in the fleet for 14 years.

As with the carrier fleet, these strategic submarines do not require a fleet in the hundreds?or even in the dozens. The Navy has stated that its minimum requirement for a viable strategic deterrent at sea is 12 ballistic missile submarines.

Those who favor a larger fleet are not arguing for some massive buildup but just a level that the Navy has repeatedly stated is necessary. The capacity to build, sail, and maintain these vessels exists. It is the Administration?s attempts to slash defense that will cause a failure to meet these requirements.

America?s military capabilities have certainly evolved since World War I. But so have the threats America faces, the area our fleet must cover, and the global economy our Navy sustains by protecting freedom of navigation.

The President can dismiss calls for a more robust fleet, but that accomplishes nothing more than weakening America?s position in the world and undermining the sailors and Marines who protect the nation every day.

HOUSTON (Oct. 22, 2012) Although primary care physicians take care of many aspects of health and disease, little is known about how they can change sedentary behavior through counseling, according to researchers at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Results from a new study suggest encouraging patients to decrease the time they spend sitting each day may be feasible in the primary care setting.

"Reducing sedentary time can be done by virtually everyone and requires smaller changes in energy expenditure than meeting physical activity guidelines, which usually entails a complex behavior change particularly for inactive patients," said Kerem Shuval, Ph.D., principal investigator and assistant professor of epidemiology at The University of Texas School of Public Health Dallas Regional Campus, part of UTHealth. "Reducing sedentary time helps promote health and primary care physicians can play a major role in modifying their patients' sedentary behavior, particularly because adults spend many of their waking hours each day sitting or in passive leisure activities."

Results were recently published online in the British Journal of Sports Medicine.

Unlike physical activity counseling, which has been investigated over the years, sedentary behavior counseling is a new term used in this study to describe a dialogue with a patient about the harmful effects of prolonged uninterrupted sitting. The average amount of time spent sitting or reclining during waking hours in the United States is almost 8hours per day, according to data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.

In this study, Shuval and his colleagues asked adult primary care patients whether their providers asked, advised and encouraged them to modify their physical activity and sedentary behavior in the past year. The "5A" (ask, advise, agree, assist and arrange) framework was used to examine these questions.

Study results indicated that within the last year, only 10 percent of patients received sedentary behavior counseling compared to 53 percent who received physical activity counseling. No patients received a plan pertaining to decreasing sedentary behavior; however, 14 percent were provided with a written plan for increasing physical activity. More social support and specific strategies for behavior change were provided as it relates to increasing physical activity than decreasing sedentary behavior. Obese patients were more likely to receive counseling to decrease their sitting time.

"Accumulating evidence has found prolonged sitting to be associated with increased risk for chronic diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes as well as premature death," said Shuval, who is also an adjunct professor at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UT Southwestern) and a member of the Harold C. Simmons Cancer Center at UT Southwestern.

Sedentary behavior has emerged as a new field of scientific investigation due to the detrimental health effects of prolonged sitting, according to Shuval. A number of studies have begun to explore the impact of interventions specifically focused on reducing and breaking up sedentary time.

"Our study provides initial insight into sedentary behavior counseling practices in the primary care setting," said Shuval. "Additional research is needed prior to developing programs to change patients' sedentary behavior." Several countries have already begun to provide general recommendations to decrease sedentary time.

I'm feeling much better after some great company and entertainment!

My TPT issues from the other day seem to have been resolved, and I finally got my new product uploaded. I was writing an IEP for one of my kiddos, and was thinking about how quite a few of my kids need more practice with counting and quantities 1-10. Our unit next month is all about travel/transportation, so I decided to create a bundle of activities for numbers 1-10 with a transportation theme. You can check it out on TPT by clicking the image below:
