Sad news for MTV star Diem Brown, contestant on many a "Challenge" and "Gauntlet" and what have you -- the 29-year-old's cancer has returned, she announced on her Twitter June 5. "My doctor just called me...and... I have Cancer again... didn't think Ovarian Cancer cld come back.. Please get internal ultrasounds/year," she writes. "I know I will be fine I beat Cancer once & I'm gonna do it again! I know God has a reason for every speed bump in life & I'm ready."
Brown revealed that she had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer when she participated in her first MTV reality show, the "Fresh Meat Challenge," back in 2006. She'd been in remission for years until her new diagnosis.
The reality star and TV host created the website MedGift.com during her struggle, an online gift registry that helps patients afford medical supplies and other expenses that can build up during medical treatments.
